Introduction

Dux Health needed a mobile experience that could bridge their AI-powered EEG wearable with patients in real time. The core challenge was to deliver life-critical seizure predictions 30–60 minutes in advance without creating unnecessary anxiety, while supporting three distinct system states, strict medical compliance, and a polished demo version for investors and medical conferences.

Signal Quality: a warning that the T3 sensor isn't receiving a signal, over a diagram of the cap's four electrode positions. The calm state: Hi Jason, you are safe for the next 60 minutes, with the Risk Level card reading Medium and the headset's status below it.The alert: Laura indicates that a tonic-clonic seizure is expected within 30–60 min, with the current and expected time and a Got it button.
The home widget: you are safe for the next 60 minutes, in session at 1:13:24, battery 84 percent, under the DUX wordmark.

Outcomes

We designed a clear, trustworthy mobile app that connects the wearable device with patients through calm, real-time monitoring and carefully considered alerts. The result is a focused product experience — including a demo-ready interactive prototype — that successfully communicated the value proposition to founders and investors while meeting the high safety standards required in medical technology.

The Seizure Alert card: expected within 30-60 minutes, alert time 4:25PM against an expected time of 4:55PM, on a lit progress bar.
The Adjust Risk Level card: a dial set to Medium, described as a balanced setting that catches moderate risk while keeping false alarms down.
